Robert Daugherty joined NAU as an instructor of Mathematics and
Statistics in 1998. Prior to that, he worked as a secondary school mathematics
teacher in Rwanda and the Navajo Reservation. He has more than five years
experience in data mining and knowledge discovery. Mr. Daugherty has recently
assumed the role of director at the CDI after the retirement of its founder and
previous director, Bern Carey. Prior to that, Mr. Daugherty was the chief
analyst at the CDI.
